Applying for procedures after implementation of electronic share certificates
The electronic share certificate system was implemented for listed companies on Monday, January 5, 2009. As a result, all share certificates of listed companies are invalid and shareholders’ rights are electronically managed in accounts at securities companies and other financial institutions, and applications for procedures have been changed as follows.
Application for payment of unpaid dividends after implementation of electronic share certificates
- Please contact the following Shareholder Registry Administrator listed below. This procedure is unchanged from before implementation of electronic share certificates.
Applications for change of address after implementation of electronic share certificates, buyback/additional purchase of odd-lot shares, designation of dividend receipt method, etc.
- Shareholders whose share certificates are being held by the Japan Securities Depository Center: The securities company, etc. you deal with
- Shareholders whose share certificates are not being held by the Japan Securities Depository Center (JASDEC): Account Management Institution that opens a special account (Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, Limited, the Shareholder Registry Administrator listed below, is the Special Account Management Institution)
