Hardening of track parts for vehicles such as large excavators (width 800mm, depth 540mm, height 280mm, weight 260kg) is performed. The workpiece is fed horizontally and hardening is performed on three parts: 1) the tread, 2) the claw (the part that grips the ground when moving), and 3) the hole (the part where pins are inserted to connect track pieces).
